Keeping your body healthy while you’re dealing with difficulty will also help you to cope better. Try to eat healthily, get enough rest and make time for exercise. It may be difficult to do these in some circumstances, but it will provide a lot of benefits to remember to include these basics.

Do things that you enjoy

Remembering to do things that you enjoy helps you to feel happier and calmer. Examples may include meeting up with  friends or family, going to a party/club, reading a good book, taking a walk and listening to music. During a difficult time, you may feel guilty about enjoying yourself. However, remember that it is an important part of managing tough times healthily and moving forward.
