TerminalFour SiteManager SiteManager is a content management system (CMS) that allows users to create and edit parts of the University website. It’s a web-based program that uses a series of templates and options, so those with limited/no experience editing websites can update their school or department's site with ease. SiteManager pages are responsive, which means that they can be viewed on a desktop or on mobile devices just as easily.

Access If you have been assigned to update a site by your line manager, please contact us to request access and training. Once you have been granted access, you need to regularly work on the system, or your access will be revoked.

Browser support SiteManager can be accessed from any web browser (Internet Explorer users may experience performance and display issues, so we recommend Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for Mac).

  • Prior to signing in, a TerminalFour SiteManager account must be created for you.
  • Open a web browser. Go to https://t4.wits.ac.za/ and you will be presented with the following screen.
  • Enter your username (your staff number) and password; then click Login.
  • Remember, your SiteManager account credentials are tied to your Wits University email account, so if you change your Wits password, that will also change your password to login to SiteManager.
