Your application The Student Enrolment Centre handles all undergraduate student applications. Once you have applied, you will be assigned an Admissions Consultant to deal with your application. All correspondence is available on the self-service portal.
Student life There is a lot going on at Wits and you will be spoilt for choice with the academic, cultural and sporting opportunities on offer. If sport is your thing, Wits Sport offers 28 sports codes to choose from, including the chess club, mind sports, mountain climbing, and orienteering.
Support As a Wits student, you have access to many forms of support such as programmes to help you transition to university life, career counselling and psycho-social support, and faculty advisors who will assist you developing the skills you need to succeed academically.
International Students The International Students Office is the first port of call for international students and offers a wide range of services to assist you with your journey as an international student at Wits.
Accommodation One in five Witsies lives in one of our 17 residences. Campus Housing and Residence Life oversees all aspects of the University's residence life programme and promotes the academic performance and holistic development of students.
Funding your studies The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office (FASO) administers funds on behalf of the University, donors and sponsors. The office also provides information and advice on student funding.
CCDU Our Counselling and Careers Development Unit provides a welcoming and safe space to students. The Unit is staffed by a team of professionals inclusive of psychologists, social workers, careers educators, and life coaches.
Disability Rights Unit The DRU works towards creating an equal, accessible, and welcoming environment for all students with disabilities, and creates awareness of the issues and abilities of people with disabilities in the Wits community.
