The Transnet Matlafat?o Centre is a partnership between Transnet and Wits University. The Centre uses innovation and research to promote high value enterprise development.

The aim of the Centre is to increase the competitiveness, capacity and capability of participating SMMEs through skills transfer and access to research and development facilities.
