Description of Residences

Living within a residence environment can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a student's career.

Faculty/student interaction in residence, developing competence in all aspects of leadership, shaping a community from a cross-cultural perspective, late night discussions with peers/fellow students - these are just a few of the many opportunities that residence life provides, apart from sporting and social activities.

In catering residences, meals are provided as part of the residence package.
In self-catering accommodation, no meals are provided, but the residence offers catering facilities, including stoves, microwaves, and fridges.

The residences are divided into catered and self-catering categories and vary in size and layout:

NB: All applications are made online and not directly at residences.

Residences are linked to all campuses by means of a bus service between 07:00 and 24:00. A special shopping bus links the residences to the Rosebank precinct on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
